Unlock your potential! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The primary role of the Bariatric Coordinator is coordination of care for bariatric surgery patients. This includes performing nutritional assessments and establishing nutritional plans of care for the bariatric surgical patient. Additional work includes the management of bariatric surgery accreditation and quality improvement program (MBSAQIP) certification. This covers a broad range of responsibilities including but not limited to bariatric program development, policy development, patient and staff education, organization of support group activities, outcomes analysis, quality indicators, oversight of multidisciplinary team and acting as liaison between the hospital and surgical practice. 1. Required Education- Bachelor’s Degree Master Degree preferred 1. Certifications/License- CBN within24 months and/or Registered Dietitian (RD) under CDR (Commission for Dietetic Registration) 1.
