Expected pay for this position is $25.35 - $29.82/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: ​The Coordinator Anesthesia Services sets up the anesthesia delivery equipment and monitors. Assists the anesthesiologist in delivering patient gases correctly for each patient. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served, as well as the principles of growth and development over the life span.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School/GED

Experience:

2 years' experience as a Respiratory Therapist or 2 years experience in surgery working with anesthesiologists, anesthesia machines, and specialty equipment in the operating room.General knowledge of human physiological monitors and clinical skills to assess and trouble shoot equipment acquired through on-the-job training.

Other skills/knowledge:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Other requirements/information:

Must possess an understanding of all physiological monitors and be able to make a judgment whether data is accurate.
