Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Warehouse Coordinator to be involved in the shipment / delivery, requisition, and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment into and from the warehouse. On a typical day you will:
Manage warehouse inventory and products including, but not limited to, parts related to hoisting and rigging and personal protective equipment (PPE)Handle ordering and organization of various parts as requested by local branch and arrange delivery of parts or equipment to jobsitesSupport the service, modernization, and new equipment operations managers with mechanic support, purchase order processing, tracking shared tools and equipment, and other key initiativesMaintain vendors and supplier relationships and invoice management to ensure timely paymentsManage major client work order processing and time keepingEnsuring waste oil and other hazardous material is properly contained, schedule pickups by waste oil vendor and proper disposal documentation is maintained in compliance with Otis and State regulations.Supervise the local fleet of company vehicles and trailersSchedule and coordinate annual elevator inspections with 3rd party inspectors, life safety companies, and clients in certain areasCoordinate with local landlords on the upkeep and improvement of our offices and warehouses.What you will need to be successful:
High school diploma required, BA/BS degree preferred At least 1-2 years of experienceElevator industry a plus.Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Must have clean driving record.Ability to drive F250 & F350 (1 ton+) trucks to coordinate and make material deliveries / pickups. Ability pass Dept. of Transportation (DOT exam). The ideal candidate will have good written and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented, and organized.Demonstrated proficiency in planning, organizing and multi-tasking is required. Experience supporting several departments preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and OutlookWhat’s In it For Me / Benefits:
