Responsible for the management and coordination of all information for the Therapy Division. Supports Therapy office responsibilities, including scheduling, reception, registration, case management, authorization, medical record requests, and coordination of Therapy documentation. Educates others in logging, charging, and staffing documentation. Assist in training of staff on departmental workflow and responsibilities. Provides training on forms related to outcomes and performance evaluation documentation.
Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent
Five years experience in an outpatient or hospital setting is preferred. Experience working with interdisciplinary team with an emphasis on rehabilitation services.
Case management skills and/or certification in case management preferred.
Proficient in computer and word processing skills. Knowledge in practice billing, coding and reimbursement criteria for Rehabilitation Services.
