Coordinator, Ranch Production & Operations
Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

A unique and diverse position responsible for production activity on an 800+ acre filming ranch, including scheduling crews, managing scouts, interfacing with locations and production managers, and ensuring that productions run smoothly.  This position is also responsible for the administration of contracts, invoicing and payments, as well as maintaining the production sets and locations. The hours will vary based on production needs, and overtime and weekend work will be required.  There is a close interface with the environment and wildlife common to the rural regions of California.

What You Will Do

Oversee production activities and track holds across 42+ locations.Schedule and attend directors and tech scouts; communicate client needs.Arrange, hold, and book dates; handle contracts, insurance, invoicing, and payments.Plan production support space and supervise activities; ensure compliance.Coordinate restoration and maintain relationships with stakeholders.Develop knowledge of irrigation, power sources, and vehicle operations.Handle wildlife interaction and provide crisis support.Track and manage maintenance projects; coordinate with vendors.Track holds, bookings, and cancellations.Update website, participate in events, and conduct site tours.Process invoices, maintain files, answer phones, order supplies, and handle deliveries.

Minimum 2 years of production coordination experienceMedia Pulse/XytechProduction locations experienceComfortable working in a ranch environment – rural conditions, indoor/outdoor, wildlife encountersExperience with fire safety response and emergency team supportCPR/First Aid

Education:

High school degree or equivalent requiredCollege degree preferred


The hiring range for this position in California is $48,500.00 to $65,000.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
