Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

Universal Studio Group (USG) is a global content production division of NBC Universal, producing award winning Television, Podcasts and Graphic Novels. The Coordinator, Marketing will assist in the day-to-day administrative support of the SVP, Global Brand Strategy and Marketing and Marketing team for the Universal Studio Group division.

Responsibilities:

Cover the desk for executive (phones, calendar/scheduling, preparing reports, booking travel etc.)Function as administrative liaison to departmental staff, other departments, external vendors and consultantsRespond to internal and external inquiries, and provide routine information within scope of authorityReconcile purchasing cards, executive travel, and expense reportsSupport tracking, reconciliation, and file departmental invoices/accountingHandle office administrative duties for the Marketing office (schedule IT, office supply orders, coordinate drive-ons with security and provide check in instructions, schedule facilities, manage office share drives etc.)Maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documentsWork in partnership with other department coordinators to interview and hire pages and internsSupport maintenance of distribution and contacts listsSecure product order requests

Marketing & Social

Review digital marketing materials for accuracyAsset collection and delivery for department and vendor needsSupport with social asset review and copy writingContribute to the long-term goals of growth and evolving social media strategyAssist in the execution of branding and sponsorship at industry festivalsKey contact for asset delivery systemsBrand Guardian and Logo expertSupport with development of presentation decksManage On the Lot branding and City Walk Jumbotron for priority showsEffective note taking in show meetings with the highest level of confidentiality

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree1+ years of marketing or project management experience, including internships and Page ProgramWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
