With 2023 revenues of $20\.4 billion, we are a Fortune 500 company who is committed to providing an inclusive work environment with continuous learning opportunities and development for our teams\. **GENERAL PURPOSE:** The inbound domestic transportation coordinator is responsible for providing support for all domestic inbound transportation activities\. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** • May provide support to the inbound group in all areas of inbound transportation, including application of Accessorial charges to shipments in TMS, scheduling, tracking, and tracing of orders\. Enter and verify vendor routing requests and archiving orders and reviewing in RDM\. Schedule live unload appointments at all DC's\. Investigate and resolve issues related to domestic movement of freight and provide support to inbound planners as needed\. • May serve as point of contact for pending operational items on "Freight Payment Issues Log"\. Responsible for system entry of approved accessorial charges on shipments within TMS\. Monitor Ross\-Ship\-Cost email box for accessorial entry requests, carrier invoices, & approval notifications etc\. • Provide superior level of customer service to vendors, carriers and DC's\. Support customer service to multiple divisions of Ross to resolve any transportation\-related issues • Assist with any projects requested by the Inbound International and Domestic Supervisor\(s\) and Manager **COMPETENCIES:** • Teamwork • Performance Standards • Drives Results • Communication • Customer Service • Adaptability **QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:** • Bachelor's degree, or related professional work experience • 2\+ years of transportation operations/staff experience with knowledge of carrier logistics preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access is required • Strong self\-motivation and the ability to work aggressively to complete projects • 2 \- 4 years of experience in a customer service role preferred • Transportation experience within the retail industry preferred • Transportation Freight Pay & Accessorial charge experience a plus **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:** Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer\. Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in\-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc\. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance\.
