*Reporting to the Public Affairs Lead, you will be part of the Public Affairs Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Act as a liaison for and co-operate with KIA IIBA staff;
Participate in and lead IIBA On-Site Working Groups, including reporting requirements;
Support and provide advice and technical support to AEM management who participate on IIBA Committees, as required;
Provide on-site training and support to site staff on IIBA requirements and implementation;
Collaborate with and support the staff of Community Relations in any IIBA-related implementation activities;
Coordinate departmental IIBA and other monitoring scorecards using tracking software Borealis;
Assist in the coordination and the preparation of IIBA and other reports with the Data Coordinator and submit within the timeframes as required by the IIBA or other requirements;
Assist in reporting and data maintenance in the Community Relations tracking software – Borealis;
Assist in the management of the external complaints and grievance mechanism;
Provide advice, support and assistance toward the planning and implementation of community-based initiatives that support the department to build and maintain a social license.

*University Degree or College Diploma in Administration or Finance OR one year of experience in a similar role;
Experience working with Indigenous associations, and/or Federal and Territorial government agencies is considered an asset;
Awareness of the political, social and economic environment of the Kivalliq region in Nunavut;
Experience managing data collection and preparing reports for external stakeholders;
Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Priority will be given to Inuit beneficiaries.
Note that the official working language at our Nunavut operations is English.

Schedule\: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Baker Lake or Rankin Inlet, QC.
Frequent travel between the Kivalliq communities is required.
