Job Overview:
The coordinator maintains the formal area assigned to receive patient s and visitors into the Echo/Vascular Labs. Answers phone and handles all communications within the department. Also performs clerical duties consistent with the policies and procedures of the lab. Demonstrates positive guest relations to all patients, staff, and visitors. The coordinator will also read, be familiar with, and participate in periodic education/training regarding the company's corporate compliance program, code of conduct and other compliance policies.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Prior administrative or secretarial experience in a healthcare setting Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentScheduling Requirements:

Greet and receive patients and visitors in a courteous, professional, and timely manner upon arrival to the Echo/Vascular LabsServe as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls, routing calls appropriately and relaying messages to clinical staffPerform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient charts, scanning documents, and data entry in accordance with departmental protocolsMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area to support a positive patient experienceCoordinate with technologists, nurses, and physicians to facilitate efficient workflow and ensure timely patient careMonitor and replenish office supplies and necessary forms to maintain smooth daily operationsEnsure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations at all timesDemonstrate knowledge of and adherence to corporate compliance policies, the code of conduct, and participate in all required training sessions related to regulatory and compliance standardsExhibit professional behavior and positive guest relations in interactions with patients, families, staff, and external stakeholdersAssist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned by leadership to support departmental goalsOther Duties:
