**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Mississauga location in the Diabetes Care Division. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
**Position Overview** :
The Coop Student will be involved in helping support the ADD Canada Finance team (including Diagnostics, Molecular, and Point of Care) with preparing and submitting accurate and timely financial reports that support management decisions. The Coop Student will also provide financial support to the sales and marketing team. The Coop Student will also have the opportunity to participate in commercial operation meeting and management meetings.
**What You’ll Do**
Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:
+ Prepare daily sales reports and trackers while manage any issues with the reporting.
+ Prepare month end journal entries.
+ Update expense reports with Actuals.
+ Prepare expense analysis.
+ Assist with Plan (Budget), quarterly LBE (Latest Best Estimate) and monthly CMR (Country Management Review) schedules.
+ Ad hoc projects
**Required Qualifications**
+ Candidates must be enrolled in a university and currently in the process of completing a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Commerce.
+ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Interested in learning about financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
+ Task-oriented.
+ Self-starter.
+ Excellent critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
