Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Institutional Cook to join our food service team.The cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving meals in large quantities, ensuring proper nutrition, food safety, and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals in accordance with standardized recipes and dietary requirements.Plan, portion, and serve meals in a timely manner. Follow menus and adjust recipes for large-scale food production.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food prep areas. Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations (HACCP, ServSafe, etc.).Properly store and rotate food supplies to prevent waste. Work collaboratively with dietary staff and management to meet meal schedules. Assist with inventory control, receiving deliveries, and stocking supplies. Provide safe and respectful meal service to all residents/patients.
