Summary This position is located at Fort Bliss MWR Bowling Alley. (AR 215-3 2-5). Responsibilities Performs a full range of simple cooking by preparing and cooking items. Prepares food by peeling, chopping, paring, cutting, dicing, flouring, and breading. Mixes ingredients, according to precisely written recipes. Operates equipment using gas, electricity, griddles, steam, or microwave heat source. Cleans, stores, and maintains all equipment and work areas after each use. Follows established sanitation procedures when handling food. Ensures that foods are stored at the correct temperatures to prevent bacteria growth. Able to work alone. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Work experience in preparing foods and cooking simple foods and short orders in a cafeteria, restaurant, or mess. 2. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
