They thrive in a polished hotel kitchen environment, consistently preparing the hearty Midwestern dishes guests expect while supporting the restaurant’s casual yet presidential dining experience. A great Cook II ensures quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction in every plate served.


What will I be doing?

As a Cook II, you would be responsible for preparing hot and cold food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Prepare cold and hot food items including, but not limited to, salads, fruits, dressings, fish items, appetizers, sandwiches and burgers, and side items according to designated recipes and quality standardsMaintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all timesManage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient mannerEnsure knowledge of menu and food productsStock and maintain designated food stations(s)Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchenPractice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
