Our client, a community-focused organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals and fostering a supportive environment, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the Food Service Department supporting meal preparation and food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering quality food, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Pay Range: $18-23 per hour

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

Prepare food for meal programs and catering services following established recipes and guidelines Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards Maintain proper food storage and inventory logs to ensure safety and quality Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service operations Perform food temperature checks and maintain a clean, organized work environment

What's Needed?

High school diploma, culinary training, or culinary degree preferred At least 2 years of experience as a cook Experience in batch cooking required ServSafe Manager Certification or Food Handler Certification preferred Valid Wisconsin Driver’s license
