This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in professional cooking who are eager to contribute to a high-performing kitchen focused on quality, creativity, and consistency. **Basic Job Duties and Expectations:** + Ability to prepare food according to recipe specifications and food preparation technique, in a timely and consistent manner. + Make adjustment to food items to accommodate guest with allergies or specific diet concerns + Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques including sautéing, frying, broiling, and preparation of stocks, sauces, and soups + Operate and maintain multiple kitchen stations with minimal supervision + Support the culinary team by maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment + Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive kitchen culture + Control and minimize waste + Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
