Job Title: Full-Time Cook – Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $19+ DOE 
Hours: Monday–Friday 12pm-8pm

We are seeking a Full-Time Cook for a permanent role with our client, located in Belgrade, ME. The Cook works alongside kitchen staff and volunteers to prepare and serve three daily meals for approximately 40 guests and staff. The role includes menu planning, cooking, maintaining food safety and sanitation, and engaging warmly with guests and their families. Success in this position means delivering consistently high-quality, from-scratch meals—often locally sourced—while fostering a welcoming, service-oriented atmosphere.

As a Full-Time Cook, you will:

Prepare and serve three daily meals for around 40 guests and staff

Plan menus and order ingredients as needed

Cook from scratch using fresh, locally sourced ingredients

Follow and uphold food safety and sanitation standards

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and storage areas

Collaborate with kitchen staff and volunteers to ensure efficient meal service

Accommodate dietary restrictions such as vegan, keto, paleo, gluten-free, and others

Interact warmly and professionally with guests, staff, and families

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

High-volume cooking experience

Strong interpersonal skills and a personable, service-oriented demeanor

Knowledge of food safety regulations (SERV Safe Manager or equivalent preferred)

Ability to work Monday–Friday, noon–8 PM

Nice-to-have: Pastry or baking experience

Nice-to-have: Culinary degree or relevant certification

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
