Summary
Essential in integrating, managing and executing product and service conversion processes within the operations and clinical practices of the organization. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth transitions from existing products and services to new. Responsible for maintaining comprehensive communication with all stakeholders, defining and adhering to conversion timelines, and monitoring compliance with new product purchasing protocols.

Job DutiesLead and oversee product and service conversions within the hospital supply chain, ensuring smooth transitions from old to new products. Collaborate with clinical staff, procurement teams, and vendors to evaluate new products, obtain approvals, and align conversions with hospital needs. Collaborate with Clinical Value Analysis to analyze cost, availability, and clinical efficacy of new products to support conversion decisions. Provide regular reports and updates on conversion progress to supply chain leadership. Maintain accurate records of product changes, approvals, and implementation timelines. Utilize standardized communication templates to ensure clear dissemination of information regarding new product specifications and changes in ordering procedures. Develop and implement communication plans to inform relevant hospital departments about upcoming product changes. Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock during conversion periods. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to product conversions, including supply chain disruptions or quality concerns. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and contractual agreements with vendors. Identify key criteria and timeframe for measuring post-implementation goals (i.e. 30, 60, 90 days from implementation) and validate that estimated benefits have been achieved. Train and educate hospital staff on new product usage, safety, and best practices.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 4 years experience in Supply Chain focused roles. Strong project management skills, including planning, tracking, and reporting. Proficiency in data management and documentation practices. Proficiency in Excel data analysis. Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across the Supply Chain. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
