We are currently recruiting for a Convenience Pricing and Promotions Assistant to join our expanding convenience team!

Reporting into the Convenience Pricing & Promotions Team Leader, you will support the team in ensuring accurate pricing and promotions are implemented across all Asda convenience stores.

You will work closely with the Core Pricing team and the Convenience Commercial team and play a key role in maintaining pricing accuracy, monitoring promotions, and supporting supplier billing.

Key responsibilities include:Supporting the management and implementation of price and promotion changes, often at short noticeMonitoring live promotions to ensure they are set up and running correctlySupporting the billing of suppliers and ensuring promotional funding is accurateEnsuring pricing and supplier funding data is accurate and kept up to dateResponding to ad hoc queries from internal teams and storesUsing Excel to manage, review, and validate pricing and promotional dataSupporting the use of Asda systems and third-party tools to implement, review, and analyse pricing and promotionsEnsuring pricing aligns with the Express pricing strategy and flagging any discrepanciesWho we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, highly organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. This role would suit someone early in their career who enjoys working with data and is happy to adapt to same-day changes when required.

Attention to detail, resilience, and strong Excel skills are key to success in this role.

Essential:Strong to advanced Excel skills (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data validation)Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, changing environmentStrong attention to detail, particularly when working with pricing and billing dataGood time management skills and the ability to prioritise urgent tasksClear communication skills and confidence working with multiple teamsDesirable (but not essential):Experience monitoring promotions or working with billing dataExperience working in retail, pricing, or a commercial environmentExposure to supplier funding or invoicing processesEverything you'll love

To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
