Volt is immediately Hiring Controls Wiring Technicians in Irving, TX!

As a Controls Wiring Technician you will:

Perform point-to-point wiring inside control panels based on electrical schematics and layout drawings Connect control panels to field devices such as sensors, switches, actuators, relays, and terminal blocks Follow established wiring standards and safety protocols (NEC, UL508A, etc.) Verify wire routes, terminations, and labeling for accuracy and completeness Conduct continuity checks and basic functional tests during and after wiring Maintain clean and organized wiring within panels and enclosures Collaborate with panel builders, engineers, and field technicians to resolve wiring or layout issues Assist with quality assurance and troubleshooting during panel testing and startup prep Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and in good condition

This is a 2 Month Contract!

The ideal candidate will have:

2+ years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or low-voltage industrial wiring Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Familiarity with control systems, PLCs, and industrial sensors/devices Experience using basic hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers, and multimeters Understanding of wire sizing, color codes, and labeling practices

Pay Rate: $23 to $25

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
