Controls Technician
Job Title: Controls TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation and assembly of custom machinery designed for automated manufacturing environments. This role involves reading and interpreting electrical schematics for machinery, parts, and wiring, as well as working in the field for testing and commissioning.

ResponsibilitiesInstall and assemble custom machinery for automated manufacturing environments.Read and interpret electrical schematics for machinery, parts, and wiring.Perform testing and commissioning in the field to ensure machinery operates correctly.
Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical and schematic reading.Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.Knowledge of wiring, including 480v systems.Understanding of machine safety protocols.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electrical blueprints, including systems up to 600v.Strong attention to detail.Experience with installation and safety procedures.
Work Environment

This role is based in a shop environment with approximately 20% travel in the field, typically 3-5 days at a time. The organization prides itself on a family-oriented culture where innovation is encouraged. Employees have the opportunity to see projects from start to finish and can potentially move into design or development roles. The company is an industry leader in robotic taping applications and also offers solutions for clipping, sonic welding, and screwdriving, primarily serving tier 1 automotive suppliers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paris, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
