Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team dedicated to installing and maintaining renewable energy solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems.
Responsibilities
Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and components for renewable energy solutions.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure timely and accurate installations.Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.Document work performed and maintain accurate records.Essential Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation or related field.Valid Florida Electrical License or ability to obtain one.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Willingness to travel locally to installation sites.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.Familiarity with solar, battery storage, or other renewable energy systems is a plus.Proficiency in electrical schematics, troubleshooting, and wiring.Experience with actuators, heater wiring, electrical panels, PLCs, and energy storage systems.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
