Description
This customer is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer/Technician to work alongside their Senior Controls Engineer. They will be responsible for supporting a variety of upcoming projects. Projects will primarily consists of Allen Bradley (RsLogix500 and 5000) PLC programming and robotic (Fanuc) teaching/programming.
This is a contract role that will be indefinite; work is projected for the next 12 - 24 months. Most of the work will be onsite in Columbus, IN while some projects will require travel to Germany and France.
- Design of electrical control systems
- Allen Bradley PLC modification and programming
- Travel to other company sites for integration and installation of control systems
- Ability to identify and suggest electrical motors / power supply needed
- Work within ethernet communications such as DeviceNet, Profinet, and Profibus
- Ability to work with and integrate safety PLCs (GuardLogix) and safe I/O
- Have an understanding of OSHA requirements and safety standards

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
