Job Title: Controls TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking a hands-on problem solver to join our Maplewood Facility as a Controls Technician. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow, drive change, and elevate maintenance operations. The position is on 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am, working on a highly automated manufacturing floor with mold presses to address issues in controls, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
+ Edit and modify control programs on programmable devices such as SLC-500, Control Logics, Panel View, and Panel View Plus.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
+ Support lean initiatives and participate in improvement events.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to edit and modify control programs and programmable devices.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
+ Minimum of 3 years working experience in a highly automated work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working with smart cameras such as Keyence and Cognex is a plus.
+ Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, mechanical systems, pneumatics, schematics, automation, preventive maintenance, repair, and programming.

The work environment is fast-paced and highly automated, located on a manufacturing floor. The role offers leadership opportunities and a chance to deepen expertise in control systems.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
