You will be working closelywith project leaders to verify control details while creating the electrical schematic diagrams and working with our Purchasing Team to specify and source components used in your electrical design.
You will program the PLC control systems and HMI screens and verify machine functionality by performing functional and in-house and onsite product testing on the equipment.
You will document the control systems and write technical operating manuals.
You will assist the Customer care team by providing customer support and troubleshooting controls-related issues.
You will train Unifiller staff in control system use.
You are willing to perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
You have an Electrical/Electronics/Automation/Mechatronics Diploma or Degree or similar background.
You have experience in designing industrial control systems using AutoCAD to create schematic diagrams.
You are experienced with PLC control systems, HMI Programming, and industrial networks. Allen Bradley, Unitronics PLC/HMI, and DeviceNet/CANbus/Ethernet IP experience is an asset.
You are experienced with Pneumatic, Stepper, VFD, and Servo control components, their function, and configuration.
You can work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and time management skills.
You are experienced in using MRP/ERP, Project management, and MS Office software
You have a good verbal and written command of the English language. Knowledge of different languages is an asset.
You can interact with a variety of individuals from different backgrounds and cultures.
You exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service.
You can travel within and outside of Canada for installs, commissioning, and equipment servicing.
