Responsabilities:

Prioritizing workload to enable employees to accomplish all responsibilities
• Project management for large Controls Automation projects
• Procuring/launching new and major program automated equipment
• Maintaining working contacts with organization leadership, various cross-functional GM
organizations, installation facilities leadership, and vendors
• Diagnosing and correcting deficiencies in manufacturing processes
• Maintaining awareness of new controls technologies (PLC, HMI, networks, robot, vision)
• Leading/participating in safety g-Risk activities with cross functional groups
• Supporting deployment of best common systems and methods as defined in the PT Global
Controls Bill of Process
• Providing technical direction to and oversight of outside vendor sources
• Providing technical direction to and coordination of less experienced controls engineers
• Performing People Leader responsibilities for direct reports including but not limited to:
• CAP – goal setting, mid-year and year-end reviews
• Managing results and evaluating/coaching individual performance
• Compensation planning and communication
• Training and development planning
• Implementing and maintaining key safety processes and programs

Required Skills:

Education: Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer Systems

English: Advanced Intermediate (Conversational)

Experience: 3-5 years of experience:

Knowledge of programming (Python)

Knowledge of Siemens controllers

Experience as a team leader 

Willingness to travel

This role is categorized as onsite. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location on a full-time basis.

The selected candidate will be required to travel on a regular basis (25-50%) for this role.
