Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Controls Specialist to join their team for a project to build a onboarding playbook for a client. The Power Plant Controls Specialist will leverage deep expertise in plant control systems to design and develop an onboarding platform tailored for commissioning and operational readiness. This role focuses on translating complex control system processes into practical, user-friendly onboarding materials that align with the company's operational standards. The specialist will ensure that new hires gain a clear understanding of SCADA functionality, system integration, and compliance requirements from the perspective of a controls professional. Key Responsibilities: • Apply controls experience to build a comprehensive onboarding platform that reflects real-world commissioning and operational practices. • Provide subject matter expertise on control systems, SCADA, remote monitoring, and system integration for renewable energy assets. • Review and validate onboarding documentation to ensure accuracy, practicality, and alignment with company standards. • Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and continuously improve onboarding content. • Ensure all materials emphasize safety, compliance, and operational excellence from a controls perspective.
