Controls Engineer III
Job Title: Controls Engineer III

Job Description

The Automation Engineer III plays a critical role in managing quality records and compliance tasks within the department. This position requires troubleshooting and supporting controls engineering operations in manufacturing facilities. The engineer is responsible for managing work orders, workflow tracking, supporting capital projects through FMP documentation, and providing SAP/CMMS support for the team.

ResponsibilitiesManage quality records and compliance tasks for the department.Troubleshoot and support controls engineering operations in manufacturing facilities.Oversee management and tracking of work orders and workflow.Provide FMP documentation support for capital projects.Support the team with SAP/CMMS.Essential Skills6+ years of experience with process/manufacturing controls.Proficiency in Allen-Bradley systems.Experience with validation protocols in a GMP environment.Change management experience, particularly in industries such as life sciences, medical devices, oil and gas, chemical manufacturing, and food and beverage.Associates degree in Controls/Automation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with project management and design exposure.Ability to work with legacy equipment and modernize it.Experience collaborating with contractors and third parties.Work Environment

The work environment consists of 60% desk work and 40% hands-on tasks. The position requires minimal travel (less than 5%)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
