Job Description
The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced control systems for automated machinery and equipment. This role involves programming PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, and DCS platforms, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration of new technologies. The position requires expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems to guarantee reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and thorough documentation are essential, along with providing technical support and training to ensure smooth operations. Familiarity with Ford Motor Company standards and manufacturing plant installation activities is highly preferred.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
Proven experience in control system design, development, and implementation.
Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, HMIs, and DCS configuration.
Strong understanding of automated machinery and industrial control processes.
Experience with system testing, validation, and performance optimization.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex control systems.
Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
Experience with installation activities in manufacturing environments.
Solid understanding of manufacturing process timing and Gantt chart development.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional projects.
Strong documentation and organizational abilities.
