Controls Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC/HMI control systems for automation and electrical design in industrial settings.

5 years of experience with programming software and tools

2 years of experience with electrical design software and tools

Proven experience as an Electrical Controls Engineer specializing in PLC/HMI control systems

Completion of associate's degree/trade school program in electrical, automation, or related field, or minimum of 2 years of related experience

Strong electrical aptitude and working knowledge of computers and MS Office

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Servo/SCADA/DCS control systems

Experience as an Electrical Designer for industrial control panels

Strong knowledge of UL and NEC standards for industrial control panels

Responsibilities:

Develop, configure, and maintain PLC programs for machinery and process automation

Write, test, and debug ladder logic, structured text, and function block code

Design, create, and maintain HMIs using various programming software

Ensure seamless communication between HMI and PLC systems

Integrate PLC/HMI systems with sensors, actuators, motors, and drives

Troubleshoot hardware/software issues related to PLCs/HMIs

Perform diagnostics to minimize downtime

Create comprehensive electrical designs for industrial control panels

Pay: 100K-120K

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
