Job Title: Controls Engineer Location: Wayensboro , Georgia Type: 3 year Contract Compensation: $55.00 hourly Contractor Work Model: Onsite System One is currently seeking a Controls Engineer on a 3 year contract position located in Waynesboro, GA. Controls Engineer Responsibilities: + Support and transition across multiple projects, checking cables, and wiring in the field, performing and assist in site walk downs, preparing cost estimates, supporting start up, prepare layout and conceptual designs. Controls Engineer Requirements: + 5-7 Years Experience in related field and an accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering. + Solid Electrical knowledge, configuration /graphic skills in one or more platforms: Ovation, Foxboro, ABB, or PLC + Experience with field support + Experience with control narrative and markup + Experience with checking cables and wiring in the field + Experience with cost estimating in sub disciplines + Experience developing IO lists + Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
