Actalent is seeking a Controls Engineer III to join our client's dynamic team, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving compliance, supporting capital projects, and optimizing controls systems across their manufacturing facilities. This is a hands-on role that blends technical expertise with strategic oversight, offering the opportunity to work on large-scale pharmaceutical and chemical operations that make a global impact.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the management of quality records and compliance documentation.Troubleshoot and support controls engineering systems in manufacturing environments.Oversee work order tracking and workflow management.Provide documentation support for capital projects (FMP).Deliver SAP/CMMS support to the engineering team.What You Bring:6+ years of experience in process or manufacturing controls.Strong proficiency in Allen-Bradley systems.Experience working in GMP-regulated environments with validation protocols.Proven success in change management across industries such as life sciences, medical devices, oil & gas, chemical manufacturing, or food & beverage.Associate’s degree in Controls, Automation, or related field.Preferred Qualifications:Project management and design experience.Ability to modernize legacy equipment and systems.Experience collaborating with contractors and external partners.Work Environment:60% desk-based work and 40% hands-on engineering tasks.Minimal travel required (
