We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to design and develop sophisticated control systems, including PLC Logic, HMI interfaces, and electrical schematics. ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop control systems, including PLC Logic, HMI interfaces, and electrical schematics.Program and configure PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi) and HMIs for automation applications.Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.Select appropriate electrical components for control systems.Perform I/O checkouts, system validation, and commissioning at client sites.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, sensors, and network communications.Maintain comprehensive documentation, including wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and system configurations.Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
Essential Skills4+ years of experience in controls engineering.Experience with PLCs such as Siemens, Omron, and Mitsubishi.Proficiency in HMI development.Ability to select components for control systems.Capability to write PLC programs from scratch.Robotics experience.
Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong troubleshooting skills in control systems.Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams.Effective communication skills for client interaction and training.
Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based, with approximately 10-15% travel to client sites within a 300-mile radius. Most travel will be day trips, with occasional overnight stays required. The office is located in West Chester and houses a team of approximately 35 professionals.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.08/hr.
