Summary: Seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement custom automation equipment with expertise in PLCs and data-driven improvements.

Requirements:

BS Degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering Minimum 2+ years experience in designing, developing, and implementing custom automation equipment Expertise in developing systems incorporating PLCs, PC-based controls, and data-driven improvements Ability to work with PLC Programmers for troubleshooting and code writing Familiarity with Allen Bradley programming

Responsibilities:

Conduct approximately 80% office/shop floor design work and 20% hands-on debugging and commissioning Design, evaluate, and develop advanced engineered systems and controls Conceptualize, model, and integrate hardware, software, and data within multi-disciplinary teams Develop emerging technologies with built-in quality checks (poka-yoke processes) Collaborate with IT department on integration and network security Implement data-driven MES solutions aligned with Industry4.0 practices Specify and program various robotics to meet customer requirements Create electrical prints and diagrams for shop floor execution Debug control systems in manufacturing environments Mentor team members in robotics applications

Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
