Seeking a Controls Engineer OR Technician to help Design and Control Panels! Lots of OT opportunity!

Controls Engineer Details:

Direct Hire position$30.00 to $45.00 /hourFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Design and support implementation of PLC-based control systems for equipmentDesign control panels using various software packages such as AutoCADGenerate/modify PLC and HMI programsDevelop control sequencing and speed modulation for three phase motorsCoordinate needs, such as interfaces, with other vendorsProvide on & off-site customer support & trainingWork extensive overtime as requiredTravel approximately 25-40% of timeIdentify & requisition partsSupport building of control panelsPerform other related duties as requested by the General Manager or Electrical Engineering Manager.

Controls Engineer Qualifications:

Formal post high school electrical schooling combined with relevant experience providing a knowledge of low voltage DC and single and three phase AC circuitryComputer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD softwareAbility to understand basic mechanical and electrical schematic drawingsFamiliarity with PLC ladder logic and HMI display generationGood written & oral communication skillsAbility to work well with othersAbility to interface well with customers and vendorsHave the desire and self-initiative to be willing and able to continuously learn
