Description
Estimate / study, plan and deliver electrical infrastructure for PTME programs.
Implement Controls Best Practice with standards
- Launch Enablers – software systems applications (i.e. machine monitoring, quality systems, gauging systems, etc).
- Change Control to be activated post green PROTAG via CCR / MTC systems
Support ETC Subcommittee member, as required.
Lead Controls interface (software applications, OEM integrations, etc.).
Integration team lead with GDME detail review of drawings (Approval, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical).
Support approval requests for deviations/waivers from OEM's and Plant via core engineering.
Issue resolution during machine build and Installation.
Support fresh eyes on other current programs.
Maintain 10-panel and 15-panel deliverables in OPIC system.
Identify and develop with facilities the power drop requirements for each asset and ensure wire size fits main disconnect under a single lug, identify Burndy style reducers required.
Document all machine acceptance in the MIDAS system.
Troubleshoot and resolve production-related downtime (i.e. PLC programs, HMI Screens, etc.).
Deployment of Manufacturing 4.0 strategies and specifications.
Ensure all software is reviewed for structure compliance and accuracy with GDME.
Coordinate Virtual Commissioning of software systems with GDME and OEMs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following automotive systems: Interior, Exterior, Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical, Water test, End of Line, Stator/Rotor, Machining, Cell Manufacturing, and Battery Assembly - Error proofing
Bachelor degree in Engineering
Automotive Manufacturing Engineering experience required
Experience w/automotive assembly or machining tooling, processes and facilities required
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46.06 - $50.67/hr.
