Job Responsibilities:

The role involves but is not limited to:-

Design and program complex automation solutions throughout project lifecycles, including supervise the installation at the customer's facilityCreation of functional design specificationWork on multi line projects as part of a teamEffective communications with Electrical, Mechanical, Process and Shop floor departments regarding design changes and issues.Participate in Continuous Improvement activities across the departmentEffective management of program back-ups and version controlInvestigate, troubleshoot & resolve automation failuresGood management of design and commission time. Able to effectively hit project milestonesA good team player, willing to assist other controls engineers on other projectsEliminate the risk of spill of non-conforming product through the processes with automated solutionsIntegration of cell upgrades through hardware and software additionsAdhere to the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Including, but not limited to: Taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others; co-operating with Managers or any other person, to perform or comply with any requirement or duty imposed under a relevant statutory provision; To not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of health, safety and welfare.Any other duties as reasonably requested.Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
