The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing and testing industrial control panels for production equipment, while also supporting the local manufacturing facility with electrical troubleshooting and system improvements. **Work You'll Do:** Design industrial control panels using AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN. Support local manufacturing operations by diagnosing and resolving electrical issues. Occasionally program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs. Specify and source electrical components to meet design and functionality requirements. Create and maintain process control system documentation for end users. **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience. + Minimum of 3 months of CAD experience. + Technical writing skills for control system documentation. + Strong troubleshooting, communication, and initiative skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with HMI screen development and troubleshooting. + Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN. + Knowledge of the National Electric Code and UL508 standards. + Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial network communications. + Knowledge of Coperion Process Solutions and Schenck Process products.
