Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with a strong background in automation and controls. This role involves developing PLC programs and creating operator interfaces using specialized software. You will be tasked with converting outdated programs to updated versions.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, and convert PLC programs using Machine Edition.Create operator interface units for human-machine interface touchscreens using Aveva software.Ensure seamless integration of automation and controls systems without requiring extensive training.Essential SkillsProficiency in PLC programming and controls engineering.Experience with Proficy Machine Edition and Wonderware.A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation and controls.Must be a US Citizen.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with BWR Plant Chemistry Control program is a plus.Knowledge of liquid chemical and hydrogen gas chemical systems is advantageous.Work Environment
The position is onsite, requiring presence in San Jose five days a week.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
