Controls Designer
Exciting Controls Designer Opportunity!!

Job Description

This position is responsible for developing and implementing a wide range of system designs, including specification, integration, operation, testing, and evaluation to meet customer requirements for Plant Air Compressor Packages. The role involves close interaction with project engineers and service engineers.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop loop drawings, wiring, and logic diagrams using P&ID drawings.Work directly and constructively with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel.Collaborate with other departments to ensure prompt and effective problem-solving of reported issues.Establish and maintain project schedules to support customer commitments.Focus on quality and attention to detail in all design aspects.Assist field service engineers in resolving technical matters.Essential SkillsProficiency in Inventor with at least 1 year of experience.Experience in controls design and understanding of loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic.Ability to understand and develop loop drawings, wiring, and logic diagrams.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree in Computer Aided Drafting is preferred but not required.Experience in AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD Inventor.Experience in an Engineering and Manufacturing environment.Experience with PLC Based Machine Controls and PLC Programming, with Siemens and rotating machinery experience preferred.20+ years of experience will be considered for the role.Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid work schedule, providing flexibility. The candidate will work under the general supervision of the Controls Engineering Manager and Sr Controls Engineer. The environment is collaborative, focusing on quality and effective problem-solving.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
