Job Description Insight Global is looking for a BAS Controls Technician II is responsible for the installation, testing, calibration, operation, and repair of control systems, including associated software, hardware, and equipment.  Set up and troubleshoot various network protocols, including BACnet MSTP, BACnet/IP, and Modbus.  Read submittal drawings, identify deficiencies, make corrections, and redline documentation as necessary.  Assist in completing quoted construction projects and responding to demand service calls.  Perform pre-functional testing and identify deficiencies in control logic.  Follow safety policies, including arc flash, confined space, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.  Prepare daily reports to communicate project status and needs to supervisors and project managers. Skills and Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in control installation.  Experience troubleshooting low-voltage systems.  HVAC knowledge, including air handling units, variable air volume units, fan-powered boxes, and rooftop units.  Familiarity with Niagara Tridium AX/N4, Distech, Siemens, and Schneider Electric control systems.  Proficient in the fundamentals of A/C and low-voltage D/C electrical circuits.  Hands-on experience with control platforms such as Siemens, Distech, JCI, Inet, etc.  Expertise in general controls, installations, troubleshooting, and repair.  Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device data sheets. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
