In this critical role, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and play a key part in ensuring optimal performance of electrical and automation systems within a mission-critical, 24/7 production environment. Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, and support the plant?s electrical infrastructure and control systems

Monitor and troubleshoot plant electrical systems, including wiring, programming, and integration of equipment

Lead and support automation projects and oversee contractor services

Design, develop, and troubleshoot ladder logic and flow diagrams

Support Human Machine Interface (HMI), SCADA systems, and related databases

Ensure facility uptime through effective programming and maintenance strategies

Utilize diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, megometer) for system analysis and repair

Prepare and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and P&ID drawings

Remain available for emergency response situations

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Experience with design, troubleshooting, and support of SCADA and HMI systems

Working knowledge of desktop software configuration and networking/communications protocols

Prior experience facilitating plant automation projects

Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-uptime manufacturing environments

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Two-year technical degree in Electrical Technology or a related field

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and servos

Proficiency in real-time process software programming of PLCs

Solid understanding of electrical control systems and switchgear

Experience with electrical controls, VFDs, pneumatics, motors/drives, gearboxes, and power transmission systems

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and process instrumentation drawings

Familiarity with diagnostic tools and standard operating procedures
