How You’ll Make an Impact:
Within the TI STG controlling team you are participating in the growth of Siemens Energy’s Steam Turbine & Generators business. You are contributing to the financial transparency, adherence to risk & internal controls and ensuring that the organization is having the necessary information for decision making on hand. This role has two parts – a) Financial controlling, b) Risk Management.
A Snapshot of Your Day
You will be part of the Controlling Team which is responsible for planning, controlling, forecasting and reporting of financial of TI STG in India in close alignment with central SE team counterparts as well as other financial controllers in the organization. You will also supporting in risk management and internal control (RIC) for TI STG – this involves timely reporting of controls, testing, RIC audits and coordinating across the organization with a goal of internal control adherence. The controlling profile will require day to day interaction with management team of the STG business and controlling team of Siemens Energy. The controlling activities will include analysis and commentary of FC deviations, preparation of management analyses and presentations, identification and implementation of process standardizations and improvements. Early warning report on KPI achievements, deviation analysis forecast Vs Actual, Analysis of net capital employed (Turns, Ageing, old balance cleanup) Dashboard preparation of various financial KPI like new order margin, backlog development including gross margin, absorption etc.What You Bring
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a comparable education Professional experience (>5 years) in the finance area, ideally controlling Expert in using MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP Fluent in English First experiences in current business intelligence tools (e.g. SAP Analytical Clouds, Power BI) and interest to expand these skills Open-mindedness and communication skills, the ability to work in a team High degree of motivation, initiative, high quality standards and results-oriented work Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and address competing priorities, while ensuring deadlines are met on time and with accuracyAbout the Team
