Description We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Controller to oversee financial operations within our organization in Mission Viejo, California. This role involves managing accounting functions, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency in financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounting systems, reporting tools, and leadership to support our business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger activities.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Implement and maintain accounting software systems to streamline processes and improve reporting capabilities.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team to enhance productivity and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Conduct audits and internal reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure financial integrity.
• Develop and monitor budget processes to align financial planning with organizational objectives.
• Generate detailed reports using tools such as Crystal Reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial services and CRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial data analysis. Requirements • Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial leadership role.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools, including Crystal Reports.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general accounting functions.
• Familiarity with CRM and financial services systems such as ADP.
• Expertise in auditing processes and financial compliance.
• Ability to manage budget processes and provide strategic financial insights.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to guide teams and collaborate across departments.
