We are seeking a Controller to lead financial reporting, accounting operations, and audit activities. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and strategic support across the organization.

What You’ll Do:Oversee general ledger and financial reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closeLead annual audits, financial statement preparation, and tax reporting (including Form 990)Manage cash flow, treasury activities, and asset/endowment accountingSupervise accounting teams across accounts payable, receivable, and student accountsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning effortsEnsure compliance with GAAP and implement accounting standard updatesOversee capital assets, depreciation, and long-term asset planningManage banking relationships, transactions, and cash-on-hand analysisPartner with leadership on financial strategy and operational efficiencyWhat We’re Looking For:Strong background in accounting and financial reporting (GAAP)Experience leading audits and financial statement preparationProven ability to manage and develop accounting teamsAdvanced Excel and accounting systems experienceStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentJob Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
