Controller We are seeking a Controller to lead financial reporting, accounting operations, and audit activities. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and strategic support across the organization. What You’ll Do: + Oversee general ledger and financial reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close + Lead annual audits, financial statement preparation, and tax reporting (including Form 990) + Manage cash flow, treasury activities, and asset/endowment accounting + Supervise accounting teams across accounts payable, receivable, and student accounts + Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts + Ensure compliance with GAAP and implement accounting standard updates + Oversee capital assets, depreciation, and long-term asset planning + Manage banking relationships, transactions, and cash-on-hand analysis + Partner with leadership on financial strategy and operational efficiency What We’re Looking For: + Strong background in accounting and financial reporting (GAAP) + Experience leading audits and financial statement preparation + Proven ability to manage and develop accounting teams + Advanced Excel and accounting systems experience + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
