•\tPrepare and post journal entries

•\tReview or conduct account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts

•\tSupport billing and invoicing reconciliations for outside billing provider and ME close activities

•\tAssist with QuickBooks Online and Excel-based tasks

•\tPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

•\tConduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost control and improvement.

•\tProvide insightful financial reports to family leadership to support strategic decision-making.

•\tSupervise a team including 2 accounting staff

•\tManage the process for contracts

•\tEnsure adherence to all relevant accounting standards (GAAP) and tax regulations.

•\tDevelop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks

•\tCoordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to facilitate the audit or review and tax return preparation processes

•\tCalculating quarterly bonuses for corporate employees

•\tAssist CFO in budgets and forecasts when needed

•\tAssisting CFO in cash management when needed

Skills & Qualifications

•\tDirector/Controller level with prior experience leading teams

•\tPublic accounting background strongly preferred

•\tMinimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with at least 3 years at the Senior Accountant or Manager level

•\tStrong technical knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

•\tIntermediate proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Online

•\tExperience with multi-site environments required

•\tDemonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines

•\tCPA

•\tIntermediate Excel with Pivots/LOOKUPS

•\tRemaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods

•\tDetail-oriented and highly organized

•\tEffective communicator who thrives in remote work settings

•\tComfortable working with limited supervision

This is a Permanent position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
