We are partnering with a well‑established global industrial manufacturing organization to hire a Controller to lead finance for one of its most strategic business segments. This high‑visibility, hands‑on role oversees the full financial landscape while driving performance and partnering closely with operations. We’re seeking a leader with a track record of steady progression, increasing responsibility, and a commitment to ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience with progressive responsibility in finance or accounting
Demonstrated advancement into leadership roles such as Accounting Manager, Senior Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or similar
Strong cost accounting expertise including standard costing, BOM/cost structures, inventory analysis, and variance analysis
Deep understanding of cost flow and its impact across financial statements
Hands-on month‑end close experience within inventory‑intensive or manufacturing environments
Key Responsibilities:
Own full financial statements — P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
Lead accelerated month‑end close (1–3 days)
Drive forecasting and planning — budgeting, outlooks, long‑range plans
Oversee cost accounting operations including standard costing, BOM structures, inventory and cost flow, PPV, and manufacturing variances
Manage inventory accounting and controls — valuation, cycle counts, reserves
Ensure GAAP and SOX compliance, including revenue recognition standards
Partner with operations to improve performance — profitability, working capital, and cost visibility
Lead and develop a distributed finance team across U.S. and global support functions
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness
