Overview

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations for a growing, project‑based organization. This role is responsible for financial reporting, job costing, inventory accounting, cash flow management, and providing financial insight to leadership. The Controller will serve as a trusted advisor to ownership and play a key role in long‑term strategic growth, with a clear path to CFO.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close and financial reportingPrepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow, and job‑level profitabilityManage budgets, forecasts, and financial modelsOversee job costing, revenue recognition, and cost matchingLead inventory accounting, reconciliations, and controlsOversee AP/AR, cash flow forecasting, and working capitalEnsure GAAP compliance, internal controls, audits, and tax supportIdentify process improvements and system enhancementsPartner with ownership, operations, and sales leadershipQualifications5+ years of experience as a Controller or Accounting ManagerStrong financial reporting, month‑end close, and reconciliation skillsSolid understanding of cost accounting and job‑based environmentsExperience supporting leadership with financial insightsWhy Join UsHigh‑impact leadership roleDirect access to ownershipSupportive, family‑oriented cultureJob Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
