Controller Location: Sioux Falls, SD Employment Type: Full‑Time Overview We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations for a growing, project‑based organization. This role is responsible for financial reporting, job costing, inventory accounting, cash flow management, and providing financial insight to leadership. The Controller will serve as a trusted advisor to ownership and play a key role in long‑term strategic growth, with a clear path to CFO. Key Responsibilities + Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close and financial reporting + Prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow, and job‑level profitability + Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models + Oversee job costing, revenue recognition, and cost matching + Lead inventory accounting, reconciliations, and controls + Oversee AP/AR, cash flow forecasting, and working capital + Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, audits, and tax support + Identify process improvements and system enhancements + Partner with ownership, operations, and sales leadership Qualifications + 5+ years of experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager + Strong financial reporting, month‑end close, and reconciliation skills + Solid understanding of cost accounting and job‑based environments + Experience supporting leadership with financial insights Why Join Us + High‑impact leadership role + Direct access to ownership + Clear path to CFO within ~5 years + Supportive, family‑oriented culture Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.
