Job Accountabilities:\n•\tPartners with other senior management in defining the global Finance and Accounting strategic plan while ensuring the maximization of the company's financial performance\n•\tOversees the execution of the strategic plan and manages the financial reporting, budgets, and internal processes\n•\tLeads the accounting department and advises management in interpreting and utilizing managerial accounting information\n•\tManages all accounting operations while monitoring costs and capital expenditures\n•\tDirects the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances\n•\tDevelops business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls\n•\tEnsures timely and complete financial statements and oversees the preparation of the corporate annual report\n•\tAccurately reports the financial results to Applied Composites' operations by Generally Accepted Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)\n•\tPrepares reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations\n•\tProvides financial analyses, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations\n•\tGathers and analyzes data to inform commercial pricing decisions; validates accuracy and integrity to ensure competitive proposals and pricing decisions\n•\tLeads and directs work for a team of employees as defined by business needs\n•\tManages staff selection, performance, development, and training process to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations\n•\tOther responsibilities as assigned
